Robert began his career in the commercial insurance industry, purchasing a small firm and building Lama Insurance into one of Central New York’s largest brokerages. Upon selling the brokerage to First Niagara Financial Group, Robert became their Senior Vice President guiding the Insurance Division with over $600,000,000 in annual sales. Robert also founded Lama Commercial Real Estate and negotiated site acquisitions for Walmart, Lowes, Tops, CVS, Rite Aid and other large national retailers. During this time Robert maintained a yacht in Miami that the entire family enjoyed.  

After moving to Miami, Robert combined his love of yachting with his business acumen, establishing Miami International Yacht Sales. With his business and negotiation experience, Robert found a niche in the sale of vessels in excess of 100’. In 2023 Robert joined IYC after many years of successfully running his own yacht brokerage firm. He enjoys the challenge of finding the perfect yacht for his clients, and supporting them throughout the process and after the acquisition.
