British-born Alice Newnham began sailing with her family from a young age. She first took the helm as a teenager, sailing on England’s south coast, before moving to work on yachts in Greece. She holds a skipper license and understands firsthand the nuances of yachting, enabling her to assist her clients to get the best experience on the water. A keen and avid sailor and skier, Alice trained as a ballet and contemporary dancer and gained a degree at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance.
Gaining skills at a smaller brokerage house, Alice joined the IYC UK London office in early 2021 where she continues to assist clients from all walks of life. Alice is creative, adaptive and brings an enthusiastic and proactive approach to her role in the London IYC office. When not in the office, you will often find Alice sailing in the Solent on her sailing boat with her partner.
