Darko was born in Tivat on Montenegro’s cost where he lived most of his life. Being so close to the sea had a lot of influence on him;  he studied at the Maritime Nautical High School and later on finished his studies in Management of Customs, Forwarding and Agency Business, which brought him to work for the Super Yacht Marina Porto Montenegro which was a stepping stone for  him into the yachting industry. Darko joined IYC in 2015 when the office in Montenegro was established. He is happily married and the proud father of two sons and one daughter.
