Born in the UK, Jamie grew up on the water having spent 20 years cruising and skippering his family's motor yacht on the River Thames and across the English Channel to France and Northern Europe. Using this love for the water, he then enrolled in University to study Navigation and Maritime Science. Whilst there, his love for the water continued, leading him to join the university yacht club where he spent time cruising their 14m sailing yacht and undertaking many yacht races both for the university and the local yacht club. Once he had completed his degree at Plymouth University and had gained his professional RYA Yachtmaster Licence, his love for sailing continued as he moved to the Adriatic to work as a private and commercial skipper for a major sailing organisation.
Utilising his superyacht experience with continual involvement in the maritime industry, Jamie started his yacht sales career for a major organisation on the South Coast of England. With experience in new build and brokerage yacht sales in the sub 30M market, Jamie's career moved into the Superyacht sales and purchase industry, working for a brokerage house specializing in charter and retail yacht sales.
