2018 saw impressive performances in every division of IYC. A market-leading 48 yachts were sold by the company over the year, more than any other brokerage house, representing 10 per cent of all yacht sales in 2018. Buyer confidence continues to grow, with an active market and customers consistently choosing to work with proven brands like IYC.

IYC prides itself on a custom approach and understands that every yacht and owner is different, specializing in pairing the right yacht with the right owner. The list of 2018 sales reflects this approach, with a wide variety of yacht types and sizes sold, ranging from 24m all the way to IYC’s biggest sale for 2018, the 230’(70.1m) Lürssen-built M/Y St Nicolas.

Other yachts sold by IYC in 2018 included: 60m Osho (Benetti), 58m Skyfall (Trinity), 55m Turquoise (Proteksan), 55m Kinta (Proteksan), 54m Starfire (Benetti), and 47m Abbracci (Christensen).New build projects were also sold, including the striking 180’4’’ (55m) M/Y 55m Admiral S-Force. It was not just the sales division that recorded a strong year, with other IYC divisions also charting impressive figures. The charter management division continues to expand, with the third largest fleet of 78 beautiful yachts. IYC’s Yacht Management and Insurance divisions are also going from strength to strength with more and more owners turning to IYC’s full service offering and expert team.

A large part of IYC’s success is due to its people and in 2018 the company also welcomed several new team members, building on its long-term mission to build the best, most-respected, and skilled team in the industry.
