155’/47.24M CHRISTENSEN LOON SOLD BY IYC

11th November 2020
IYC is pleased to announce the sale of 155'/47.24m Christensen LOON by Katya Grzeszczak, Michael Rafferty and Barbara Stork Landeweer. This beautiful GRP semi-displacement motoryacht was built by Christensen in 1997 and has been kept in immaculate condition ever since with a major refit in 2017, additional work in 2018 including new zero speed stabilizers, and excellent results from her recent survey work. Pairing a stylish design with a timeless interior she boasts large spaces inside and out.
On board spaces are light and bright, with exquisite Cherrywood with laquers, muted tones and deep windows that flood the interior with light. Multiple guest areas are on offer, including the elegant main salon and large skylounge. Guests are welcomed on board into a large entrance foyer which leads seamlessly in to the main salon – a refined space featuring oversized seating and a coffee table, a pop up television, and direct access to the aft deck. A formal dining space is positioned forward of main salon, with seating for all guests. Up a level, the skylounge is the focal guest area and delivers a relaxed vibe with plenty of seating, a modern entertainment system, wet bar and games table. The pilothouse offers yet more space to enjoy, with comfortable guest seating and optimal views.

Welcoming up to 12 guests, Loon has six spacious cabins ensuring plenty of accommodation flexibility. The main deck full beam master is especially impressive and includes the full remodeled ensuite with Jacuzzi tub plus a separate shower. Four large ensuite cabins are located on the lower deck, accessed by another beautiful guest lobby. Three of these four Queen cabins are able to convert into twins as needed and, as an added bonus, the two aft cabins can be connected to create one huge VIP suite with a queen and king bed. The sixth and final cabin, located aft of the master, has been modeled as a staff or children’s cabin and is ideal for a nanny or children – a recent refit has also given this cabin the option of a queen bed. All guest cabins are beautifully outfitted, with exquisite finishes, marble bathrooms and modern AV systems.

Outside spaces are impressive, with a focus on outdoor living. The vast sundeck is a true highlight, with features including shaded lounge seating, an al fresco dining table, sun loungers, four-person sunbed, barbeque, Jacuzzi and control station. The aft deck is home to an al fresco dining table for 12, complemented by comfortable chairs and settees. Aft of the skylounge is another space to enjoy, with a coffee table, plenty of shade and sweeping views. Loon truly excels with her incredible water toy line up, including a water slide, in-water swimming pool and a seemingly endless selection of water gear including jet skis, tenders and more. Cruising at 14 knots, with a maximum speed of 17 knots, Loon is powered by twin 2200HP Deutz 604BV12 engines.
