As we turn the page on another successful Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, held from October 30th - November 4th, 2024, we look back at IYC’s presence at this year’s event. FLIBS, as it's known in the industry, has long been a cornerstone of the international yachting calendar. This year's show spread across seven locations, featuring over 1,000 exhibitors and more than 1,300 boats—a testament to its enduring appeal and significance in the luxury yachting world.
Throughout the five-day event, IYC showcased a curated fleet of exceptional yachts, including a world premiere, and hosted a series of engaging events. From informative presentations to elegant evening receptions, our events provided valuable opportunities for networking and client engagement.
At this year’s Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, IYC proudly presented an exceptional lineup of yachts. Present alongside our imposing stand at the Hall of Fame Marina, were yachts for sale: TANZANITE, TC, and the Moonen 110 MUSTIQUE making her world premiere. Also on display following her appearance with IYC at the Monaco Yacht Show 2024, was KING BENJI, exclusively available for charter with IYC.
Spread around the other locations were further yachts for sale: just price-reduced Benetti, STARFIRE, award-winning Canados OCEANIC 143, the best-priced 110' Riva on the market, ONYX, and the only Azimut of this size and range for sale in the USA, ONE & ONLY. For charter with IYC and available for viewings in the show were also the world-famous LOON and The Bahamas and US-based, DAY ONE.
IYC was also proud to showcase a host of other yachts in the area made exclusively available for viewings upon request including LAUREL, LIBERTY, STEALTH, GROOVER, ODIN, JE REVIENS, SEA N SEA, GOLDEN OURS, MONCRII, SIR JON II, LADY JANE, ANNIE, MISS NICOLAS, M4, MIREYA, HABEAS ORCAS, and TRIBU.
On Halloween night, we were thrilled to partner with refit yard AMICO & Co, to host Captains for a fun and festive party on board OCEANIC 143. AMICO & Co, known for its world-class refit and repair services for luxury yachts offered guests insight into their expertise and left attendees with a parting gift of a sleek black pouch from Ethical Yacht Wear.
The soirée was a great success, with some guests embracing the Halloween spirit by dressing up, making the atmosphere lively in a relaxed setting. A special thank you goes out to GWS and Komos Tequila for their support, ensuring everyone enjoyed top-tier drinks throughout the night.
As the global partner for Moonen Yachts, we had the pleasure of hosting two key events during this year’s Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show. The day was dedicated to showcasing the impressive fleet and innovations of the shipyard, as well as celebrating the world premiere of the 110 MUSTIQUE.
The first event, an intimate breakfast for a curated group of press, provided an ideal setting for a presentation on our exciting partnership with Moonen Yachts. Attendees also heard about the latest innovations from the yard, followed by the much-anticipated visit of the 110 MUSTIQUE.
Later in the day, we hosted a cocktail evening specifically for brokers, offering the perfect opportunity to connect with industry peers, discuss the capabilities of the yard, and answer any immediate questions about the yacht. Adding a special touch to the events was a tartare serving station, courtesy of Manzo Piedmontese, which delighted our guests and added a unique culinary experience to the day.
Our Saturday evening, we hosted a sunset cruise event on board KEMOSABE where clients experienced the yacht in its true element—at sea. With fantastic attendance, guests enjoyed an ideal combination of smooth cruising, drinks, and light bites against the backdrop of a setting sun. The atmosphere was lively, and the opportunity for a hands-on sea trial let everyone get a genuine feel for the yacht’s capabilities.
Every evening, our stand transformed into a hub with tequila tastings by Tequila Komos and flowing champagne courtesy of Bollinger. It was a delightful way to unwind and come together with clients and partners at the end of each day.
