Born in the US, growing up in Pennsylvania, Brendan began working in the yachting industry immediately after graduation, starting his career working as marketing director for the Catamaran Company in Fort Lauderdale. Immediately falling for the yachting industry he worked his way up through various roles, including captaining motor and sail yachts for more than a decade, before making the move into brokerageThese previous roles left Brendan well positioned in his role as a broker, able to apply his own hands on experience and knowledge to every sale. His know-how on the operational side of yachts has left him especially well-suited to advising clients on all aspects of yacht operation. A background in marketing has proved an added asset when undertaking the marketing of his yacht listings, ensuring they command the attention of their target buyer. In particular Brendan’s understanding that no two vessels are the same, and every sales process must be unique to the yacht in question, has shown real results and helped him to match large numbers of clients with their perfect yacht.
