A classical design sailing yacht
A truly exceptional custom sailing yacht, ARKTOS offers a one-of-a-kind charter experience. The name ARKTOS comes from the ancient Greek word for bear and it refers to one of the two constellations in the northern night sky, the Great Bear. Built in the style of a traditional schooner, the guests can soak up the beauty of her classic design while enjoying all the modern comforts of a luxury yacht.
Inspired by the name, ARKTOS accommodation includes five comfortable cabins, each named by the stars of the northern sky: Antlia, Aquarius, Aquila, Antares and Arktouros. There is a full beam master suite, two double staterooms, one convertible twin cabin to a double with an additional pullman berth and one twin cabin. This flexible layout makes her an attractive charter choice for mixed groups of adults or a multi-generational family.
ARKTOS has a unique interior design from Dimitri Thiraios. She boasts a number of interesting artworks, including a poem by the famous Greek poet Cavafy and an antique dagger preserved in a glass case. Her formal dining room is an exceptional space for hosting friends and family, with large windows and rich, high-gloss wooden walls. For movie nights, guests can relax on her comfy sofas while watching the plasma television screen in her cozy main salon.
As with all sailing yachts, ARKTOS has a wonderful amount of exterior space. Excellent sunbathing and lounging areas are found on the deck, as well as a formal dining table that will allow for al fresco dining throughout the day and into the evening. Her built-in sofas and sun pads are perfect for enjoying the beauty of the cruising grounds while under sail.
