COVID-19: MESSAGE FROM IYC’S CEO STEFANOS MAKRYMICHALOS

So much has been said lately about the impact that COVID19 has had on our lives that I feel it is unnecessary to say anymore. We are certainly all informed on the seriousness of the situation and monitor developments closely. I am well aware that, possibly now more than ever, you depend on us to provide you with reliable, uninterrupted service. I wish to assure you that we are committed to meet that responsibility daily, under any circumstances. IYC is a solutions provider and we would not be an industry leader if we were unable to face such a challenge, especially at times like this.

The quality of service is powered by the ability of our team to perform. It is important to us that our employees and brokers feel secure in their jobs and safe in the environment they work in.  We have therefore implemented our business contingency plan to ensure continued and dependable support to you.

Considering the recent announcements from the World Health Organization (WHO), we have made the decision for our teams, working out of our offices around the world, to perform their jobs remotely and work from home at least until the end of March 2020.  In addition, we have temporarily suspended all international business travel unless it is absolutely necessary.

These measures have been taken as a precaution to limit the potential spread of the virus, to support our team, and to ensure we maintain our ability to assist you with the Sales & Purchase of your yacht, New Build Project, Operational Management, Charter Management, Insurance Placement & Claims Management, Chartering or Crew Placement.
