Your crew can take you by tender along the Dalyan River to admire the ancient ruins and Rupestrian tombs.
Your yacht will stop in Manastir (Cleopatra Bay) where you can snorkel over the ruins of Cleopatra’s baths. Follow this with a lunch on Tersane Island before you head to the market town of Fethiye. Sitting on the site of Telmessos, Fethiye is rich in historic sites, including Lycian tombs and sarcophagi. The markets are popular with locals and tourists alike, for fresh fish and - of course - Turkish delight!
Gocek was once a quiet village, where it is said that Icarus landed after his doomed flight. Today, the area is a hive of activity, with six marinas hosting charter yachts and many hotels, restaurants and shops. Dotted with five islands called the Yassica Adalari, the bay of Gocek provides a beautiful spot to anchor overnight.
On your fifth day you will anchor in Kas Marina, 12 miles from the village of Kalkan. During the day visit the fine, sandy beaches and experience the history of the town. The Ottoman and Greek architecture has been carefully preserved, and the combination of old and new design make this area uniquely interesting.
Take a day to enjoy the town of Kas - a traditional fishing, now popular with charterers. Explore the steep cobbled streets or venture just outside the town to see the impressive ruins of the Hellenistic theatre. A local boat can take you to Kastellorizo - a Greek island off the Anatolian coast with a very unique identity.
In Kekova local boats can take you from your private yacht to explore the sunken Lycian city Simena. Snorkeling or diving you will see underwater ruins, caves and ancient tombs that rise from the water. Refuel at one of the lively waterfront restaurants where you can drink you Turkish coffee sitting on a traditional carpet. If you ask a local, they will tell your future from the coffee grounds!
