There is no better way to get a close up view of the action than from onboard a yacht. Superyachts will be at the heart of the regatta, with a formal program incorporated by BWA Yachting for the first time in the event’s history. One of IYC’s charter yachts, 68m (223ft) Sycara V, has secured a coveted berth in the Superyacht Program and is available to charter during the event. The yacht will be berthed at the Hamilton Princess Marina and will be based in Bermuda from 1 May – 30 June 2017.
Held on off days, scheduled around racing, the superyacht calendar will feature a regatta and shoreside program including an owner’s dinner and End of Regatta party. Exclusive benefits available to superyacht participants will include a VIP flag allowing ‘front row seats’ for the racing, priority dockage, pit lane base tours, entry to the superyacht regatta and more. In addition to the superyacht racing, the original J Class yachts will come together for a three day J-Class Regatta. Harking back to the Americas Cup in the early 20th century this is a one of a kind spectacle and will be the first time in 80 years that the J’s will race together.
Beautiful Sycara V is ideally suited to experiencing the Americas Cup from the water. Ample exterior spaces, that can easily be made private, provide the perfect setting to view the racing, with incredible views from almost every spot on the yacht. The top deck has two outdoor spaces, including an observation area forward and dining area aft, with seating, a bar and barbeque for al fresco entertaining, which will be sure to be popular for watching the racing. A stylish interior includes a full-beam master suite on the aft of the upper deck, providing an unrivalled penthouse view across the sea.
An unforgettable event, the 35th Americas Cup will provide the backdrop for a one of a kind charter. Email us to inquire about an Americas Cup charter. To find out more or inquire about Sycara V.
