Now in its 41^st year, Cannes is one of the longest-running and most important on-water events in the world, with over 50,000 visitors set to flock to the city for the show, which has become a meeting point for some of the biggest international names. The Cannes Yachting Festival is well-known as the place where the trends and innovations that will shape the yachting industry are revealed, with many brands presenting new ideas, concepts and launches at the show. Teamed with partners including Maserati who offer courtesy car service and a VIP lounge, the Festival guarantees the luxurious experience that would be expected from such a prestigious event.

The elegance and glamour of Cannes are echoed in the stunning yachts that are on display – with over 600 modern and classic design boats from shipyards around the globe, including 120 world premieres in 2018, the show offers an eclectic mixture of motor and sail boats, both mono- and multi-hulled crafts. With on-land displays of propellers, engines and nautical accessories, and unique opportunities to test yachts in the shimmering bay, the show offers a fantastic all-round experience, as well as allowing buyers to make an informed choice. Highlights include the Superyacht Extension, where the largest boats are on show, and the Luxury Gallery, a new addition for 2018, where discerning visitors can indulge their elegant tastes for some of the finer things in life including décor, high-tech products and fashion brands.

As well as new boats, an exciting line up of second hand brokerage yachts will be showcased in Port Canto, with over 50 yachts between 22m and 65m on display. In 2018 Port Canto will also house the tenders and toys display, where the latest superyacht accessories can be found with many offering the chance to try out the toys on the water. An undoubted highlight of this line up will be The Foiler, exclusive CA to IYC. At the show IYC will be offering guests a special opportunity to experience “The Flying Yacht,” with tours and sea trials on offer. Combining style and performance, The Foiler boasts advanced propulsion system and allows speeds of up to 40 knots with incredible stability and minimal wave interference; the ultimate superyacht tender.
