Loss of charter hire – New Insurance Cover Offered by IYC
We are pleased to announce that following extensive negotiations with the international insurance market, IYC has successfully secured a new ‘LOSS OF CHARTER HIRE’ insurance cover. This new policy protects yacht owners charter income should an incident happen to their yacht that would prevent them from fulfilling any booked charters.
“This new cover has been developed in response to our clients' demand for financial protection against charter cancellations. This is a new service that is not widely provided in the insurance market, and has great appeal to owners of charter yachts” says Aliki Merianou, IYC Insurance Director.
