Michael Ripley joined IYC as a Sales Consultant in 2023 after serving as a Fleet Captain for an avid yachting family. Born and raised in the coastal region of Connecticut, Michael’s life has been intricately woven with the sea. From an early age, he spent his summers living and working on the shores of Block Island, Rhode Island, setting the stage for a lifelong connection with the ocean.
In 2009, Mike embarked on a yachting career that has since grown and evolved. His journey has taken him through both land and sea operations including both private and charter yachts, where he has honed his skills and expertise. Notably, he obtained his first United States Coast Guard (USCG) license at the tender age of 16. This early accomplishment solidified his status as a seasoned Captain, a role that has served him well as he guides and advises his clients on their yacht purchase and sales transactions.
With an unwavering commitment to the maritime world, a flourishing yachting career, and a zest for life's adventures, Michael is a mariner, a fisherman, a sports enthusiast, and a devoted family man.
