2018 show season continues for IYC with strong fleet and team at Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS)

2nd October 2018
Following a busy and successful Monaco Yacht Show, next up in the boat show calendar for IYC is the 59th edition of the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS).  Held from 31 October to 4 November 2018 in the yachting hub of Fort Lauderdale, the show is the largest on-water boat show in the world that sees an incredible display of yachts of all sizes, including many spectacular superyachts.

These will include a large fleet of nine yachts presented by IYC, ranging from 85’ Blue to 180’ Kinta. IYC will be located centrally at Pier 66 A Dock 111-116 and at Purple Zone Face Dock 14 and will host a number of daytime and evening social events to complement the show activity.

FLIBS is a popular choice for North American buyers and charter clients looking for the latest and greatest that the superyacht industry has to offer and has cemented its reputation as a must visit for superyacht clients. With a mind-boggling 1,200 yachts and water craft on display, FLIBS also presents a wide range of yachting services, equipment and more, with more than 1000 exhibitors. Over the course of five days over 100,000 visitors will attend the show – highlighting its significance on an international scale. Improvements for 2018 count a new and improved layout, including exclusive entry points for VIPs to make their show even more enjoyable.

Florida has long been an important hub for IYC, with offices in Fort Lauderdale, Miami and Palm Beach and large teams representing all of IYC’s offerings including brokerage, charter and management services. Key members of the IYC teams from these offices will be attending the show and available to meet with current and prospective clients.

The IYC FLIBS fleet of yachts is a display that represents something for everybody, and is made up of pedigree yachts built by high-quality European and American yards. The nine yachts are located in two main locations – Pier 66 and Bahia Mar – with easy access for IYC’s valued clients.  To arrange a viewing of any of the yachts on display in the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show contact your IYC broker or please contact the IYC office most convenient to you.
