Thanks to her striking and aggressive lines, Ouranos’ distinctive design will undoubtedly make her stand out amongst her peers. Boasting a generous volume, whilst remaining under 500GT, all spaces are well-proportioned and beautifully designed. Her contemporary interior epitomises the feeling of ‘less is more’. “The quality of work on board is excellent, with beautiful materials and a dark and white colour scheme, which means she looks very modern,” says Goulas. 12 guests will be housed in the utmost comfort with the six cabins including a huge master suite and three VIPs. All guest decks are conveniently connected with an elevator, allowing easy access across all spaces. Communal areas include two large saloons and the main and upper deck. A stand out design feature is the full headroom windows that run between both saloons, which offer incredible uninterrupted views. “The yacht’s interior has unrestricted views of the ocean and sun-filled spaces and the overall feeling is wonderful,” says Goulas.
Multiple exterior spaces include a huge open beach club terrace aft, which incorporates a wellness hub that is home to a gym and massage corner. The aft cockpit boasts large spaces for sunbathing, with extra guest spaces found on the upper aft deck and sundeck, and the sundeck’s feutures including a Jacuzzi with stretching views across the water.
Ouranos has joined the IYC charter fleet and following delivery will enjoy a summer of cruising in the Mediterranean before before being exhibited at the 2016 Monaco Yacht Show. Designed to be able to explore the world, Ouranos is capable of Trans-Pacific and Trans-Atlantic crossing with a range of 6000nm at 11knots. A busy cruising itinerary lies ahead of her including time in the Caribbean following her maiden season in the Mediterranean.
