Chasing The Sun: IYC's Favorite Charter Yachts For The Caribbean Season

As this year’s Mediterranean yachting summer season draws to a close, it’s time to look west and turn attention across the Atlantic - for warm waters, picturesque anchorages, and sun-drenched islands. Four standout yachts from the IYC charter fleet are making the crossing for the Caribbean winter season, each bringing their own character to a yacht charter.

Whether you want to island hop through the BVI, enjoy Christmas in Antigua, or explore somewhere more off the beaten path, there is a yacht to match your itinerary. Our IYC fleet provides action-packed days, expansive beach clubs, dedicated wellness amenities, and evenings spent entertaining on board.

With availability already beginning to take shape across the Caribbean season, now is the time to start planning to secure one of our yachts for charter for the 2026-27 season. Here are our four favorites to have on your radar:

A Limitless Playground: BATELLO

At 262'6"(80m), the award-winning Oceanco BATELLO is the kind of yacht that redefines what a luxury vacation can be. The first of the celebrated Y700 series, the charter yacht was refitted in 2025 and welcomes up to 12 guests across nine cabins.

This yacht exceeds expectations in scale; there is room for everything and anything on board, making it particularly well suited to multi-generational families and groups who want plenty of options. An extensive collection of water toys encourages guests to make the most of the Caribbean’s warm waters, and a chase boat opens up the exploring potential. For those keen to get beneath the hull, dive equipment and a dedicated dive instructor add another dimension to days on anchor.

On board, the FunAir sports court, golf driving range, climbing wall, and slide all mean there is never a shortage of activity. Younger guests can keep busy while the adults enjoy a relaxed pace, with enough space for everyone to have their own space. When relaxation is a priority, BATELLO also ticks all the boxes. A heated swimming pool and dedicated wellness area offer space to unwind, while the beauty and hair salon is ideal for getting ready for an evening ashore.

BATELLO is available from November, including over Thanksgiving, before appearing at the Antigua Yacht Charter Show in early December. For those hoping to get on board, early inquiries are recommended.

The Art Of Outdoor Living: SEVEN SINS

The 171’ (52m) Sanlorenzo SEVEN SINS is ideal for those looking for a contemporary-designed motor yacht that delivers all the charter essentials for indoor-outdoor living. Accommodating up to 10 guests, this award-winning charter yacht combines considered design with the amenities for a relaxed escape with friends or family.

Design-wise, glass plays a defining role, allowing natural light to filter into the living spaces. The signature glass-bottomed pool is a highlight, and beneath it, an expansive beach club opens onto the sea. The drive-in tender bay and extensive suite of water toys also add to the yacht’s appeal, offering convenient access to the surrounding bays and beaches of the Caribbean.

Fresh from a 2025 refit and backed by an award-winning charter record, the yacht will leave the Mediterranean at the end of November and begin her first charters in Antigua in December. Guests can enjoy a varied itinerary of beautiful beaches, lively harbors and quieter anchorages depending on the specific requests.

A Floating Resort: LA LA LAND

The limited-edition 145’ (44m) Sanlorenzo LA LA LAND is as much about the onboard experience as the destinations - ideal for entertainment, dining, and relaxation. Built in 2023, the yacht accommodates up to 12 guests and is arranged around distinct leisure zones, letting everyone enjoy the yacht at their own pace. Four dining settings offer variety throughout the charter, from casual lunches to formal dinners, and the outdoor galley and barbecue create a natural gathering spot after a day in the island sunshine.

Entertainment is where LA LA LAND really elevates the charter offering. Indoor and outdoor cinemas provide the setting for movie nights, whether guests prefer the interior or watching under the Caribbean’s starlit skies. Two sophisticated bars, including an Onyx bar and a hidden secret bar, add a playful atmosphere to evenings. Two wine cellars also cater to those who appreciate a well-curated drink selection.

There is also plenty of opportunity to relax. The owner’s deck offers a private place to retreat, and the dedicated wellness facilities, including a Hammam and massage room, let guests easily add balance to their itinerary.

Arriving in the Caribbean around mid-December, the yacht is available for charter from January until mid-March before returning to the Mediterranean. With availability in January and February, the yacht is ideal for those who want a Caribbean vacation after the festive bustle.

Luxury Yacht For Charter In The Caribbean

For Traveling Farther: OCULUS

Going beyond the usual Caribbean cruising grounds is at the top of some guests’ wish lists, and the 123’ (37m) Numarine OCULUS does just this, offering a different kind of Caribbean yacht charter. Built in 2024, this explorer yacht for charter combines refined comfort with a 6,000-nautical-mile range, making her ideal for those looking to travel farther.

Accommodating up to 12 guests, OCULUS is designed for longer journeys without sacrificing the luxe comforts. The beach club offers direct water access, while a private sauna and sea-view gym provide opportunities to recharge between explorations. A skylounge with bar and cinema projector creates a relaxed entertainment hub, complemented by separate dining and social areas. An extensive collection of water toys adds to the appeal, and the highly regarded charter crew bring plenty of experience and knowledge to trips.

OCULUS is heading to the Caribbean for the holiday season, and in January the yacht departs for French Polynesia, offering off-the-beaten-path charters from May through September. The window for Caribbean charters is limited, so those who want to discover less-traveled Caribbean destinations should inquire sooner rather than later.

Charter In The Caribbean This Winter

From BATELLO’s extensive collection of activities to SEVEN SIN’s impressive beach club, LA LA LAND’s entertainment-led interiors and OCULUS’s explorer capabilities, these four IYC charter yachts offer different, yet equally exciting, ways to spend a winter in the Caribbean.

The best fit will depend on your dates, guests, and preferred itinerary. With some yachts already committed to key holiday dates and others available into the new year, we recommend planning early.
