The Cannes Yachting Festival 2026 takes place from 8 to 13 September across two of the city’s ports: motor yachts at Vieux Port, in the heart of Cannes, and sailing yachts and multihulls at Port Canto, along the Croisette. Now in its 46th edition, the Festival is one of the largest yacht shows in Europe, showcasing nearly 700 vessels, including motor yachts, sailing yachts, superyachts, catamarans and tenders, alongside new launches and the latest innovations from leading yacht builders.
As the first major yacht show of the autumn season, the Cannes Yachting Festival is an important event for yacht buyers, owners and charter clients looking to explore the market and view a wide selection of yachts in one location. It also marks the start of the autumn yacht show season, ahead of the Monaco Yacht Show and Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.

The Cannes Yachting Festival takes place at two of the city’s ports. Visitors can find motor yachts within Vieux Port and sailing yachts displayed at Port Pierre Canto.

Tickets are sold exclusively through the Festival's online ticket office. There is no ticket desk on-site, so we recommend purchasing in advance to avoid any last-minute delays.
General public e-tickets start from €40 for a single day, with two-day and family options available. VIP packages, offering benefits such as VIP Club access and dedicated water shuttles, start from €220. Professional tickets for nautical industry attendees start from €60.
Nice Côte d'Azur International Airport is the closest, roughly 30 minutes from Cannes. From there, visitors can reach the Festival by, private transfer, helicopter, water shuttle, or taxi.
Cannes is well connected. Fly into Nice and continue by helicopter or private transfer, or arrive by train directly into Cannes SNCF station, a short walk from the Vieux Port. A taxi from Nice is also an option for a more direct arrival.

Most yachts require a pre-scheduled appointment. Access to the boats during the show is at the discretion of the broker, dealer, or manufacturer. To make the most of your visit at the Show, we recommend scheduling your yacht viewings with as much advance notice as possible as appointments tend to fill up.
The Vieux Port, in the heart of Cannes, hosts the motor yacht fleet, while Port Canto, a short distance along the Croisette, is dedicated to sailing yachts and multihulls. Both venues are connected by complimentary sea shuttles running throughout the day.
Complimentary sea shuttles connect the Vieux Port and Port Canto every 15 minutes from 10 am, with a dedicated VIP shuttle line for eligible pass holders. On land, pedestrian crossing points known as "traversantes" also link the two exhibition areas at set times.
The Festival showcases the full range of the industry, from motor yachts and sailing yachts to catamarans, tenders, and the latest in marine technology and toys, with new launches unveiled each year alongside established models.
Alongside new builds, the Festival features a strong presence of brokerage yachts, making it one of the best opportunities in the calendar to view pre-owned vessels in person. IYC's brokers will be on-site throughout the show and available to walk you through current listings.
There's no strict dress code, but smart, resort-casual outfits work best for a day spent walking the docks and stepping aboard yachts. Slip-on shoes are a practical choice since footwear often needs to come off before boarding, and a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen will go a long way given the September sun.
Early September on the French Riviera typically brings warm, sunny days with temperatures around 24–28°C (75–82°F), and cooler evenings. Conditions are generally stable, though a light layer for the water shuttles is worth packing.
Staying within walking distance of the Vieux Port or along the Croisette towards Port Canto is ideal, keeping both venues, restaurants, and the wider city easily accessible throughout your stay.
