Join the yacht in the famous Portofino – the most photographed port in the world! Relax from your trip and get unpacked as you take in the wonderful vistas of this little Italian seaside town. Hike up to mountainside to the old Castle/Fort overlooking the harbor. Perhaps a stroll through town, a stop into a café for gelato, or shopping. Depart Portofino for a leisurely cruise to the Cinque Terre, a group of five small, historically preserved, hilltop towns on the Ligurian Coast. Located between Levanto and Portovenere, the Cinque Terre (Five Quarters) has recently been made a National Park, preventing any further building, thus preserving its historical nature. Spend the day exploring these small villages.
Depart in the morning for Santa Margherita, which has a nice anchorage for a morning of watersports. Enjoy lunch underway as the yacht cruises to San Remo. San Remo is the first Italian port which is very popular with charter yachts! The casino is downtown near the Hotel Royal. The streets are narrow and interesting. Eating dinner ashore is a must – lots of wine and pasta!
Very early morning departure for the fabulous St. Tropez. Once there, enjoy lunch looking out over the famous Tahiti Beach. Go ashore to check out the famous "beaches", shops and just to people watch. Then, back to the yacht anchored off the coast, for more water toy fun!
Today you will cruise past the beautiful cliffs of Agay, bringing you to Cannes. Either anchor off or pull into the Old Port of Cannes. A short walk to the old town of Cannes, with its cobbled streets and posh boutiques, and the shopping begins. Stroll along La Croisette - feeling like a movie star! Have lunch and dinner as you choose, and watch the town come alive as night falls.
A lazy morning and gentle cruise over to the Iles de Lerin, for a swim in the crystal clear, blue waters. Only a few minutes away is the Hotel du Cap, off of Cap d’Antibes. Enjoy lunch at the Hotel, an unforgettable experience. Spend the evening watching the lights of the French Riviera - Antibes, Juan Les Pins, and Golfe Juan.
A quick cruise past Nice brings you to either Beaulieu-sur-Mer or Villefranche, a fabulously protected bay for great water sports. A quick drive brings you to Eze, a hilltop Medieval Fortress. The "vista" is amazing from this medieval city on top of the mountain overlooking the entire Riviera! Chateau Eze is very special. It is a great spot to take photographs of the picturesque towns below.
A short cruise in the morning to the principality of Monaco. If time permits don’t miss a tour of the Grimaldi Royal Place.
