Unlike ports of call for cruise ships, no marinas have been closed to yacht charters. And yachts are actually considered one of the most hygienic and safest places to be under any circumstance. The diligent efforts from crew members around the clock ensure that each yacht is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized prior to, and throughout every trip.  Each yacht is disinfected between groups on board, the air is purified on most yachts, and cleanliness standards are very high. The U.S. and other countries are tracking current outbreaks and updating their travel advisories when they believe travelers should cancel trips, reconsider travel, or exercise increased caution in certain destinations due to the virus. IYC suggests their clients look up the travel advisoryfor any country they have plans to visit. If their trip is not imminent, they should then take their time to asses the seriousness of the situation and make a decision to whether they should change their vacation plans or not.
