In Q1 of 2022, IYC sold a total of 21 yachts, accounting for a combined value of $130 million. This achievement saw in Q1 has IYC ranked #2 globally in yacht sales, and the pace continues. IYC’s sale of Bilgin-built yacht Tatiana in January 2022 registered as the largest yacht sold globally in the first quarter of the year.
The belle of the ball at the Monaco Yacht Show in September last year, Tatiana is the largest new build to come out of Turkey, not to mention one of the most environmentally-friendly yachts in her class. Delivered in 2020, the 263’ (80m) boat is the first model from Bilgin’s 263 series, exuding sleek and stylish lines. A 30-foot freshwater swimming pool on the lower deck, a second glass-bottomed pool on the main deck and a jaw-dropping 1,200-square-foot beach club are among the yacht’s many highlights.
In March, the 207’ (63.84m) new-build yacht Atomic joined IYC’s global sales fleet, another example of the caliber and pedigree of yachts the company has listed. A voluminous interior with unusually high ceilings, an infinity spa pool on the sundeck, a fire pit, glass elevator and owner’s stateroom with two private terraces are just a few of the yacht’s standout features. For the water sports enthusiasts, it even boasts an all-out dive center.
Within charter, IYC continues to maintain pole position by holding the largest charter fleet worldwide, managing more than 115 yachts. It achieves this by combining its expertise and knowledge with exceptional customer service, and in March, it strengthened this further by announcing its new partnership with private aviation brand, Jet Edge.
Alongside offering “safe-bubble” travel packages for all clients, dedicated IYC and Jet Edge customer experience teams have been established and will work together to handle all trip logistics. By providing a collaborative, seamless client experience from runway to yacht, the partnership will enable IYC to continue to build its record-breaking sales figures across new build, brokerage and charter throughout 2022.
