Katie has a true passion for the yachting industry, stemming from a longstanding personal involvement with boats that began with many childhood family vacations spent sailing yachts in the Caribbean, in particular the British Virgin Islands. After her graduation from American University in Washington, DC, Katie began her career working in London before moving to the yachting hub of Fort Lauderdale, where she was appointed Director of First Impressions at a small boutique yachting company.

Working her way up the ranks, and amassing extensive knowledge to benefit her clients, Katie moved to work with an international brokerage company where her experience working with multinational clients gave her the tools to become one of the top-booking retail charter yacht brokers in the industry. Known for her attention to detail, which is second to none, and understanding the importance of a custom experience, Katie takes great pride in matching clients with their perfect yacht in order to create a one-of-a-kind vacation experience.

As a highly-involved participant in the yachting industry, Katie is an active member of the Mediterranean Yacht Brokers Association (MYBA), American Yacht Charter Association (AYCA), and the International Yacht Brokers Association (IYBA). Katie is excited to join IYC and to work alongside the hugely experienced team in the Palm Beach office and offer her knowledge and assistance to IYC’s clientele.
