During her refit the work list on Andiamo included a new interior, a full paint job including a dark blue hull in place of her old white hull, and updated exterior furnishings. Her owners wished to breathe new life into a much-loved vessel and create an inviting and tasteful yacht for themselves and charter guests to enjoy. All this was achieved and the result is a yacht that her interior designer Patrick Knowles, of Patrick Knowles Designs, describes as “a total departure from her former self.” Andiamo has truly been reborn.
A notable change on board was the reworking of the former high couture Fendi interior, which was replaced with a refined, tailored look. “The new interior employs a plethora of textures paired with subtle patterns in a subdued palette of cream and soft gold and silver-gray tones resulting in a smart and relaxed environment,” says Knowles. This new style is complemented by her original interior joinery, which features detailed areas of gold and silver leaf, providing dramatic contrast to her more reserved interior furnishings. A wide range of beautiful materials have been used throughout including several species of wood, lacquers and textiles, all combining in an overall look that Knowles describes as “smart, crisp and relevant.”
Andiamo can welcome 12 guests on board, with six staterooms, and a crew of 15 are on hand to ensure time on board is unforgettable. The impressive full width master cabin is located on the main deck, with a private observation lounge and study, the VIP queen on the bridge deck, and three queens and a twin on the deck below. During the refit all the staterooms were restyled with fresh, white linen and a calm, quiet palette intended to create a relaxing environment for guests. All decks are linked by an elevator, ensuring easy movement between all guest spaces, with the large grand foyer and spiral staircase serving as main design features in the impressive interior. The main salon is home to large sofas, a cocktail table and formal dining table.
Just like her interior, exterior spaces are generous. The biggest and most popular space is the sundeck, featuring raised entertaining areas fore and aft, a wet bar, sunloungers, air conditioned gym and a Jacuzzi and sunpads forward. Al fresco dining options are on offer on both the skylounge aft deck and the sundeck. The main aft deck features a large casual seating and dining space while a large beach club provides on water access and a sauna. The refit saw all exterior loose furnishings replaced with casual furniture made from a variety of wood, including teak and driftwood, accented with fabrics with a natural palette.
A large complement of tenders and toys is housed in a dedicated garage, including 6m Pascoe tenders, inflatable swimming pool, glass-bottomed tenders, waverunners, Seabobs and much more. Powered by twin MTU 12V4000 M60 engines Andiamo cruises at 15 knots, with a maximum speed of 16 knots and a range of 6500nm at 12 knots
Already known as a popular charter yacht, Andiamo is set to be highly sought after thanks to her impressive and beautiful refit. “She beckons guests to relax in her new and refreshing approach to casually elegant yachting," says Knowles.
