THIS IS IT draws inspiration from technology, breaking away from typical yachting design and aligning itself more closely with civilian architecture. The exterior lines, sinuous and soft, evoke the imagery of fantastic sea creatures, challenging conventional perceptions.
She can accommodate up to 12 guests in six ensuite cabins, each designed with a head height of 11’ (3.3m). Her spacious owner’s suite is like a villa itself, boasting a large skylight, a panoramic terrace, and a unique vertical garden spanning two decks. The use of leather, Alcantara, oak, teak, and bold geometric cuts create a dynamic and enveloping atmosphere.
The interiors, crafted by Mattia Piro and Gian Marco Campanino, showcase futuristic shades, smooth finishes, and a touch of pure luxury with refined details and sophisticated materials. Light tones of beige and platinum throughout are accented by the use of gold, bronze, titanium and carbon playing with the grounding natural woods and leathers.
The yacht presents enormous volume, with almost 47’5” (14.5m) of beam, and seamless indoor/outdoor connection. Floor-to-ceiling doors and open layouts create a harmonious transition, allowing guests to move effortlessly between the luxurious interiors and the expansive exterior decks. With strategically placed seating and lounging areas, guests can indulge in panoramic vistas of the open sea, ensuring an unparalleled connection with nature.
The main lounge features floor-to-ceiling doors, creating a smooth flow to the exterior lounge, complete with a bar, game area, swimming pool, and formal dining space. The upper deck hosts a spa with a treatment area, sauna, and sensorial shower, as well as a versatile "playroom" or additional guest cabin. For an added flair when entertaining, the galley features polarized glass for show cooking.
A significant challenge for the TISG design team, THIS IS IT seamlessly blends weight control with a complex curved shape, pushing the limits of aluminum superstructure. The result is a yacht that defies the status quo and establishes a new benchmark for iconic projects.
