Returning for its 28th edition, held from 26 to 29 September 2018, MYS will welcome 30,000 visitors including the biggest players in the industry, social elite and affluent clientele who will congregate in the principality to network and immerse themselves in the glamour of the superyacht world. The Monaco Yacht Show is the only show which is entirely dedicated to superyachts, and during the week the iconic area of Port Hercules buzzes with an atmosphere of opulence and a lineup of yachts like no other. From the incredible collection of the world’s most beautiful and unique luxury yachts to the numerous exhibits of private jets and helicopters, MYS represents the epitome of luxury and is not to be missed.
This year, IYC will have the striking, recently refitted 49m La Dea II, built by Trinity Yachts, on display;visitors will be able to step aboard and experience the elegantly designed and spacious interior, which includes five cabins, a panoramic sky lounge, sun deck and swimming platform. The exemplary 40.2m Hemabejo 3, built by Benetti, will also be on display, showcasing its innovative design and stylish line. Boasting six cabins and light and functional spaces, a stand out feature of this yacht is the extendable private veranda.
Following its debut in 2017, this year will see the return of the Tenders and Toys area at Quai Jarlan and Quai Antoine 1 st. For 2018, 40 luxury tenders will showcase revolutionary technologies and customisable tenders, as well as a huge range of inflatables, seabobs, underwater drones and more. For the ultimate accessory to your superyacht, visit one of the aviation companies to view the options for private jets or helicopters. A highlight of the tenders area will no doubt be the opportunity to take a sea trial on IYC’s incredible CA The Foiler – guests can experience the smoothest of rides on “the flying yacht” as you fly above the waves on retractable hydrofoils, driven by the innovative propulsion system.
In the evenings, the port transforms as lights from the city reflect off the water and gleaming hulls, and the crème de la crème of the yachting world emerge in their finest attire, ready to mingle at the many social events, parties and awards ceremonies that are a special part of the overall Monaco experience.
