Walanka offers the rare opportunity to own a truly beautiful classic motor yacht. With an iconic canoe stern design by the ship builder Hall Russel, this 1963 vessel has been fastidiously restored by a passionate owner, with over €8 million invested in her upgrades over the past five years.
Measuring 120’ / 36.58m, she has generous on board spaces and large decks. The sweeping sun deck extends almost the entire length of the vessel – offering a shaded full length dining suite with bench and director’s chair seating to starboard, and a relaxed lounge area to port. Aft of this, beautiful custom built sun pads offer a stylish place to sunbathe. Guests can promenade on the sun deck’s wraparound walkways, reaching more sun pads at the vessel’s fore. A second shaded al fresco dining area is located on the main aft deck, with wraparound decks also found on this level. All the on deck furniture is coordinated, creating a refined look with natural woods and off white soft furnishing.
Stepping into the vessel’s interior, similar color schemes and more beautiful light wood create the same elegant yet relaxed atmosphere as seen on her decks. The main salon has generous windows and large doors that open directly to the aft deck. A modern stainless steel gallery provides an on board chef with all that is needed to create a standout menu and service. Guest sleeping quarters are arranged as five stunning cabins. All feature their own coordinated styling scheme, with each room brought to life with a pop of color. The cabins include a spacious master, two doubles and two twins with Pullman berths, all with en suite. Further accommodation for up to seven crew is available.
Walanka cruises very economically at 11 knots, with very little engine noise. Her range is 3,000 nautical miles. Originally constructed by Hall Russel at their yard in the United Kingdom, Walanka’s upgrades have mainly been carried out in Italy. Improvements include a 2019 navigation upgrade and a 2013-2014 general refit, with numerous other improvements carried out in between, including a complete engine overhaul. Her range of water toys includes a Novurania MX 430 tender, laser dinghy, canoes, a SUP, two jetskis and a range of towable gear from wakeboards to inflatables.
Walanka celebrates her heritage without compromising on luxury. She offers all features you would expect to find on a modern day superyacht, but still stands out as an original beauty.
