The partnership brings together Bering Yachts’ expertise in designing and building long-range vessels with IYC’s established presence across the Americas, extensive client network, and experience across the global superyacht market. North America represents a key market for Bering, accounting for nearly half of its social media audience and website traffic, with growing interest in yachts designed for extended cruising, autonomy, and exploration.

The agreement covers the Americas, including North America (the United States, Canada, and Mexico), Central America, the Caribbean, Bermuda, The Bahamas, and South America. IYC will represent the full Bering range throughout the territory, including aluminum explorer displacement catamarans, steel monohull explorer yachts under 79’ (24m), and the shipyard’s expanding portfolio of explorer superyachts above 79’ (24m), including projects exceeding 500GT.

“Bering has developed a distinctive offering for owners who want to go beyond traditional cruising, combining robust engineering with the range and autonomy to explore further,” said Marshall. “I’m looking forward to working closely with the Bering team to introduce more clients across the Americas to the range and help them identify the right yacht for their ambitions, whether that means extended cruising, remote destinations, or a more independent approach to life on the water.”

Raphael Sauleau, CEO of IYC, added: “This partnership is a natural fit for IYC and reflects our commitment to offering clients access to an increasingly diverse range of yachts and ownership opportunities. Bering has established a strong position in the explorer segment, and we see significant potential to build on that across the Americas. With Josh leading our representation, we look forward to developing the partnership and supporting clients interested in yachts designed for a different kind of adventure.”

The appointment reflects IYC’s continued commitment to expanding its presence across the Americas and strengthening its offering in the explorer yacht segment, connecting clients with vessels designed to deliver range, capability, and the freedom to explore further.

Alexei Mikhailov, Founder and CEO of Bering Yachts, commented: “We see a strong future for expedition yachts across the Americas. This region is already highly active for us and represents a major part of our digital audience. IYC shares our understanding of what modern yacht ownership is becoming: vessels that offer genuine capability, autonomy, and the freedom to travel extensively. Together, we can better support owners looking for true explorer yachts and expand the reach of our fleet across this important territory.”

The partnership will be introduced at the 2026 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS), where IYC will have a dedicated presence throughout the show, with the 145’ (44m) flagship HEEUS on display. The collaboration will also be marked by a joint press conference aboard HEEUS, bringing together media and industry representatives for the official announcement.
