Betty Gkika started as a Business Development Manager for IYC, based out of Greece. She worked closely with the entire team, developing relationships with new and existing clients. She graduated and achieved her first Master’s Degree (MSc) in Chemical Engineering in 2006, in Naples, Italy and continued with her second MSc in Aeronautics in 2009 in Turin, Italy.
A keen yachting enthusiast, she returned to her home country of Greece in 2010, where she joined the Spanopoulos Group as a Business Development Manager within the yachting department. She worked successfully within this role for nine years, before joining the Azimut-Benetti Group in Greece. As After Sales Manager for this leading Italian shipyard, Betty was instrumental in working with clients and ensuring ultimate customer satisfaction for Azimut-Benetti owners in Greece.
Betty speaks English, Italian and French fluently. With a proven ability to capture, analyze and successfully troubleshoot complex and demanding technology problems, she relishes the opportunity to use her skills to better serve IYC’s global client-base.
As a Head of Yacht Management - Greece, Betty is overseeing all aspects of Yacht Management, ensuring the highest standards of services and an aim to grow our local fleet further.
After years of working directly with clients, Betty has excellent communication skills, and loves to collaborate with her colleagues to deliver exceptional service to IYC customers & partners.
